The Night Diving COURSE PRE-REQUISITES In order to enrol in the Night Diving course, you must: Be certified as an Open water/ Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent rating. Be medically and physically fit. COURSE CONTENT This course is divided up into the following: Three open water dives conducted over three evenings. THE COURSE The purpose of the PADI Deep Diver speciality course is to familiarise divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving between the depths of 60 feet/18 COURSE PRE-REQUISITES In order to enrol in the Deep Diver course, you must: Be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent rating. Be medically and physically fit. COURSE CONTENT This course is divided up into the following: Theory session. Four open water boat dives conducted over two days. COURSE FEE $ 465.00 inc GST
Boat DiverTHE COURSE The PADI Boat Diver program makes diving easy – just take one giant step off the back and you’re in the water! During the Boat Diver program you’ll go on two open water dives, which must be – you got it – conducted from a boat. (Both dives may be conducted in one day.) It’s a good idea, but not required, that you enroll in this program to learn the techniques and of boats (inflatable boats, hard-hulled day boats, cabin cruisers, live-aboards, sailboats, etc.). That’s a good thing – the more boats you dive from, the more diving you to do! COURSE PRE-REQUISITES In order to enrol in the Boat Diving course, you must: Be certified as an Open water/ Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent rating. Be medically and physically fit. COURSE CONTENT This course is divided up into the following: One theory session. Two boat dives. EQUIPMENT REQUIRED Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves, buoyancy control device with low pressure inflation, regulator, alternate air source, submersible pressure gauge, depth gauge, weight belt, tank, wet suit, diving watch or bottom timer or dive computer, compass, knife, whistle, surviballoon, small torch, strobe or cylume, slate or underwater note book with pencil, dive tables and buddy line. Two passport size photographs. COURSE FEE $ 285.00 INC GST This fee covers all theory, practical tuition,two boat dives, air fill and certification processing.
Underwater PhotographerNo photo experience required! That’s what the program is for – showing you how to take award winning pictures underwater. THE COURSE The purpose of the PADI Underwater Photography speciality course is to familiarise divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of Underwater Photography. The Underwater Photography speciality course is intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to still photography techniques used in the underwater environment. Emphasis is on fun and safety. This course is conducted over two evenings and one weekend. COURSE PRE-REQUISITES In order to enrol in the Underwater Photography Diver course, you must: 1. Be certified as an Open water/ Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent rating. 2. Be medically and physically fit. COURSE CONTENT This course is divided up into the following: Theory session. Two pool dives conducted over one weekend. COURSE FEE $ 217.00 inc GST This fee covers all theory, camera hire, air fill, practical tuition and certification processing.
Drift DiverTHE COURSE Gliding with the currents, feeling the rush of flying underwater, is what drift diving is all about. COURSE CONTENT You’ll cover the following in the PADI Drift Diver program: The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of drift diving. Special equipment -- floats, lines, reels. Proper procedures for buoyancy-control, navigation and communication. Site selection and overview of aquatic currents causes and effects. Techniques for staying close to a buddy or together as a group. COURSE FEE $ 285.00 inc GST COURSE PRE-REQUISITES To start your Drift Diver, you’ll need to be at least a PADI Open Water Diver (Junior Open Water Diver or equivalent) certified and at least 15 years old.
Equipment SpecialistTHE COURSE Want to learn more about how your equipment operates and learn valuable care techniques from a dive professional? Then check into the PADI Equipment Specialist program. COURSE CONTENT You’ll need to be at least a PADI Scuba Diver (PADI Junior Scuba Diver or equivalent) and be 12 or older. The program is not designed to be an extensive equipment-repair program, however, it does provide you with the following: Theory, principles and operation of dive equipment. Routine, recommended care and maintenance procedures, and equipment storage. Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures. (May include a demonstration of repair procedures.) Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment. (Optional trying of new or unfamiliar equipment in confined water may be included.) COURSE FEE $ 155.00 inc GST COURSE PRE-REQUISITES
Search & Recovery DiverTHE COURSE Accidentally drop something in the water? Looking for lost treasure? Learn effective ways to locate objects underwater with PADI’s Search & Recovery Diver program! During your program you’ll go on three open water dives, which are conducted over at least a two-day period, with time being equally divided between academic and actual water-training sessions. COURSE PRE-REQUISITES To take the program you’ll need to be at least PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent) with the dive credential of PADI Underwater Navigation (Junior ratings accepted) or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver(Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent). You also need to be at least 12. COURSE CONTENT Your program will cover techniques and application of a variety of search and recovery methods and includes the following: The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, and hazards of search and recovery diving. Limited-visibility diving and underwater navigation techniques. Proper techniques and safety considerations for object location, including the use of various search patterns, lines and reels. Proper techniques and safety considerations for recovery of objects using various lifting devices. COURSE FEE $ 305.00 inc GST

THE COURSE The purpose of the PADI Wreck Diver speciality course is to familiarise divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and excitement of diving on wrecks. The Wreck Diver speciality course is intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to diving on wrecks. Emphasis is on fun and safety. This course is conducted over one evening and one weekend. COURSE PRE-REQUISITES In order to enrol in the Wreck Diver course, you must: Be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent rating. Be medically and physically fit.
