The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to enhance the experience, skills and knowledge of the diver for practical application in the diving environment. During this course you will be introduced to several special interest areas which may be further developed into speciality ratings. This course is conducted over one weekend with emphasis being on building confidence and having fun.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is designed to expand your diving horizons. Our dive instructors are long term, highly experienced educators. Many have been instructing with Dive and Dive for many years and are uniquely positioned to help you maximize your diving experience.

Upon satisfactory completion of the course you will be able to plan dives to 30 metres from the introduction to Deep Diving component.

In order to enrol in the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you must:

• Be certified as an Open Water Diver or equivalent rating.
• Be 15 years of age or older.
• Be medically and physically fit.

This course is divided up into the following:

• Three open water shore dives, ( U/W Nav, Night and Search & Recovery )
• Two open water boat dives conducted over one weekend, ( Drift and Deep )

• Mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves, buoyancy control device with low pressure inflation, regulator, alternate air source, submersible pressure gauge, depth gauge, weight belt, tank, wet suit, diving watch or bottom timer or dive computer, compass, knife, whistle, surviballoon, main and small torch, strobe or cylume, slate or underwater note book with pencil, dive tables and buddy line.
• Two passport size photographs.

This fee covers all theory, two boat dives, air fill, practical tuition and certification processing.
